Daulet Baimukashev

PhD student in Robot Learning in Intelligent Robotics Group.
Hi! I am currently a PhD reseacher in the Intelligent Robotics Group at Aalto University, Finland. My research focuses on robot learning, specifically imitation learning(from optimal/suboptimal data) and inverse reinforcement learning. I am advised by Ville Kyrki and closely collaborate with Kevin Sebastian Luck and Shoaib Azam.
Previously, I received my M.S. and B.S in Robotics from Nazarbayev University. I worked as a research assistant in the ARMS and Tactile Robotics labs, focusing on learning-based control and tactile sensor development. I was advised by Prof. Huseyin Atakan Varol and Prof. Zhanat Kappassov. Later, I spent two years at Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence working as a Data Scientist.
